Jorj Kashkilya: "We resist strong opponents"

"I congratulate my players. We performed at a high level tactically. "Turan Tovuz" has been winning in recent matches, their psychological state is superior. But we fought well against them. It was a difficult game. "Turan Tovuz" wants to play in European cups. It was a very intense game. I am satisfied with my players tactically. The opponent's players are physically strong. They were stronger than us in that regard. But in the game structure, our midfield line could prevent the opponent's midfield. We are satisfied with our game. We created 1-2 episodes in the first half. We had difficulty in the second half. "Turan Tovuz's" central defenders are experienced and strong. Considering the opponent's strength, we were doing our best. We will pay more attention to our attack. We came to the field to win. But we are satisfied with the course of the game. A draw is a positive result for us."

Sport24.az reports that these words were said by the head coach of "Imishli" Jorj Kashkilya at the press conference held after the game with "Turan Tovuz" (0:0) of the 22nd round of the Misli Premier League.

He also answered questions from journalists:

- The team last won in the 12th round. What is the reason for this winless streak? Will the lack of a large squad create more difficulties for you towards the end of the season?

- It is difficult for a team like "Imishli" with limited resources. It should also be taken into account that the luck factor was against us in certain games. We lost the victory in the matches against "Karvan-Yevlakh" and "Araz-Nakhchivan". We can't do anything about the luck issue. We want to win every game. Winning three points is the main thing for us. We have lost two of the last 8 games. Against huge opponents like "Gabala" and "Karabakh". We did not concede a goal in the meeting with "Turan Tovuz". We resist strong opponents. We are currently 5 points ahead of the team in 10th place. Of course, it is not a super position. But we want to win every game, to break the spell. The last 11 games will be very difficult for us. We will suffer. But we are ready for it. Our hope is that we will not get more injuries. We also have injuries. It will be difficult, we are moving forward according to our goals.
