Joachim Löw has rejected the offer to become the head coach of the Uzbekistan national football team.
Idman.biz reports that the German publication Bild has reported this.
There were reports that the Uzbekistan Football Federation was in talks with the German specialist. Although Löw took the offer seriously, the discussions ultimately failed. The Uzbeks, who qualified for the final stage of the 2026 World Cup, are eager to cooperate with an experienced specialist in the tournament.
It should be noted that the 65-year-old coach led the German national team from 2006 to 2021. Löw's Germany won the 2014 World Cup.
