Kapaz defender Jefferson Bento has decided to continue his career in Brazil and does not intend to return to Azerbaijan.
According to Idman.Biz, referring to the Brazilian media, the 23-year-old football player has started negotiations with Avai.
The player's rights belong to the Portuguese club Portimonense, which loaned him to Kapaz for one year at the beginning of the season. However, Bento went to his homeland during the winter break and never returned to Azerbaijan.
The defender told the management of the Ganja club that his wife did not want to return to Azerbaijan. According to the football player, his wife is not happy in our country, so the family decided not to return.
Since the lease agreement is valid until the end of the season, Kapaz has filed an official complaint with FIFA.
