Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has commented on the future of the club's striker Mohamed Salah, suggesting when he might leave the team.
İdman.Biz reports with reference to Goal that, according to Carragher, the club's current injury situation, especially after Alexander Isak's foot fracture, does not allow Salah to be released in the January transfer window, and the coming months may turn into a long farewell process for the player.
"After the tension at the beginning of the season, the Africa Cup of Nations was a good break for everyone. This period of Liverpool will always be connected with him. He is one of the greatest players in the history of the club and the Premier League. Therefore, an emotional farewell in the last match of the season could be the ideal, planned end to his career with the team," Carragher emphasized.
It should be noted that Mohamed Salah has scored five goals and provided four assists in 19 games in all tournaments this season.
