Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has criticized Mohamed Salah's behavior. Sport24.az reports that the veteran footballer made a statement to Sky Sports about this:
"It's a disgrace. Some people say it's emotion, but I don't think so. When Salah stands in the mixed zone - he's only done it four times in eight years - it means the player and his agent planned it to do maximum damage and strengthen their position.
He took this step 12 months ago and I criticized him for it. Salah was playing with the emotions of Liverpool fans. Last season, Liverpool were leading the league and the striker scored the winning goal against Southampton. This was the right moment to put pressure on Liverpool's owners.
The Egyptian forward waited for the moment when Liverpool's players, fans and head coach felt bad. He is attacking Arne Slot to get him fired."
It should be noted that Salah criticized the club's attitude towards him after not being in the starting lineup for three consecutive games.
