- You made your official debut in a match for Gabala. You were on the field in the first round of the Premier League against Karvan-Yevlakh. How do you rate your debut? Did everything go as you wanted?
- Despite only training with the team four times, I am very happy with my debut. I understood what the head coach wanted. I tried to fulfill it. Of course, as the weeks go by, everything will get better.
- What do you attribute your inability to win against Karvan-Yevlakh to?
- We could have even won this match with a significant goal difference. Because we had a lot of scoring opportunities. But that's football. In any case, we added one point to our asset. We will continue to work.
- It was your first match in the Premier League. Overall, what was the atmosphere of the Azerbaijan championship like?
- There was a good atmosphere at the match. We hope that we will win in the next games so that our fans continue to support us.
- Gabala will face Zira in the next round. Are you familiar with them?
- Yes, I have information about Zira. I watched their game against Hajduk. I know a little about Zira's style of play. This team has good players. But we also have good players. In any case, we are playing at home and we will go to the field to win.
- It's interesting, how did your transfer to Gabala happen in general? Why didn't you stay in Varajdin? Do you think the Croatian top league is not superior to the Azerbaijan Premier League?
- It was difficult for me to adapt from the day I moved to Varajdin. I didn't feel happy there. I didn't seem happy with my game either. When the option to move to Gabala came up, I fought to come here. It wasn't easy to do, but in the end I got what I wanted and I'm here. As for the level, I need to see more games here. In any case, I've only been here for a week, so it's too early to say anything.
- You are a Real Madrid academy graduate. Interestingly, you didn't have a chance to rise to the main team?
- No. But I played in Real Madrid's academy for 10 years. I learned a lot there.
- What is your main goal in Gabala?
- My main goal will be to give everything for the success of Gabala. I will always remain professional and try to keep my team as high as possible in the league table. I hope everything goes well.
