"One of the existing problems is the invitation of football players who sometimes do not meet the level of national teams."
Idman.Biz reports that this was stated by AFFA Secretary General Jahangir Farajullayev at the signing ceremony of the contract with the camera and analysis platform "Eyeball" company.
The official of the organization said that this cooperation will be very useful for Azerbaijani football:
"Our biggest problem is related to children's and youth football. Modern technologies are already being integrated into the football system, and these innovations will also be applied to youth football. Cameras will be installed in stadiums during competitions, and detailed analysis of the games will be carried out. Thus, a broad database about the players will be formed from tour to tour. This will allow to objectively evaluate the performance of each football player.
One of the existing problems is the invitation of football players who sometimes do not meet the level of national teams. The new database will clearly show which players are really suitable for the national level. At the same time, this system will be accessible to European and world scouts. They will be able to follow the players more closely, analyze their performances and involve them in their clubs when the time comes. As a result, these innovations will make an important contribution to the development of the country's football."
It should be noted that, according to the contract, the camera and analysis platform of "Eyeball" company will be applied in the championships for lower age groups held under the flag of AFFA.
