"We started the game against "Imishli" well. We wanted to score an early goal." These words were said by Ismayil Ibrahimli, a football player of "Zira", in his statement to Sport24.az.
The 27-year-old midfielder commented on his team's winning one point in the 6th round of the Misli Premier League against "Imishli":
"We created the goal opportunities we wanted, but unfortunately, we couldn't take advantage of them. It is felt that the championship will be held in a more intense competitive environment compared to previous years. Considering the condition of the stadium's grass cover in general, it was normal. Our goal, as every year, is to finish the season at the highest level. We have 12 points in 6 games. In my opinion, we could have had more points. In drawn matches, our team was closer to victory."
It should be noted that "Zira", with 12 points after 6 rounds, is in the second place of the tournament table.
