- It was an equal game. Only near the end did we seem to stop a bit. Zira created dangerous episodes in front of our goal. Nothing is clear yet. All questions will be clarified in the second meeting.

- What was missing to get a favorable result?

- It's hard to play every three or four days. Moreover, we played the last match on artificial turf. This also had an effect. The weather was not good either. Of course, this is not an excuse, because both teams played under the same conditions.

- How do you assess the chances before the return match?

- 50-50. Everything will be known in the return match. It is impossible to favor any team now.

- In terms of going to European Cups, is the cup a priority for Sumgayit or the championship?

- Both are a priority for us. We don't differentiate between tournaments. We go out to win every match. We are moving forward step by step. We will do our best to reach our goal at the end of the season.

- In 3 days you will face Zira again, this time in the championship. Will that meeting be any different from the cup game?

- Since it was the first game of the cup, both teams played cautiously. Because there is still a return match ahead. Therefore, no one wanted to take risks. The situation is different in the championship. Now is the part of the season where we need to be more careful. Every point is valuable.
