Interview with Orkhan Aliyev, who transferred to the Kyrgyz club "Uzgen" during the summer break, to futbolinfo.az
– How is the adaptation process to your new club going?
– The adaptation process is going well, I have almost adapted already.
– What was the main reason for choosing "Uzgen"? Were there any other offers?
– There were other offers, but I chose "Uzgen". I consulted with my manager and we came to this decision as a result. I think I made the right decision for my career.
– You have already played your second game for "Uzgen". What are your impressions of the matches against "Alga" and "Talant"?
– They were very important victories. We played well as a team and we were the dominant side. We deserved to win. I am working harder on myself to be more useful to my team.
– As a foreign player, you have scored in two consecutive matches. What is your goal?
– Scoring a goal is always a good feeling. The main thing is that I helped my team. I am glad that my goal contributed to the victory. This is motivation for me. I am working on myself to score goals in the next games as well. I hope I will not disappoint the coaching staff and those who believe in me. My main goal is to maximize the benefit to the team and win as many victories as possible. I try to show myself in a good way in every match.
– Your departure from "Turan Tovuz" was a bit unexpected. Was this decision related to the fact that you did not get enough chances from Kurban Berdyev?
– Actually, I should have stayed in the team. But after the offer came, I discussed the matter. I also spoke with Berdyev and he allowed me to leave. After that, I accepted the offer. At the same time, my desire to live as a legionnaire also played an important role in this decision.
– Did you have any prior information about the Kyrgyz league?
– Yes. After researching, I saw that both the country and the league are in the development stage. There are many football fans here and there is great interest in the games.
– What are your main plans for the near future regarding your career?
– My main goal is to show myself in a good way, to benefit my team. In the future, I will wait for offers from stronger clubs.
– After the legionnaire limit was removed in our championship, teams give local players very few chances. Even the head coach of the national team, Fernando Santos, said that he could not find a player to call up to the national team and may prefer foreign players. Does this motivate you?
– Of course, this is a great motivation for me. I would very much like to receive an invitation to the national team. I am working hard for this, regardless of which country I play in, my main goal is to always perform at a high level.
