The Azerbaijani delegation participated in an international meeting held in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, within the framework of the SCALE project. According to Sport24.az, the International Partners Meeting within the SCALE project was held in Bucharest, the capital of Romania.
Azerbaijan was represented at the event, which was held at the headquarters of the Romanian Football Federation, by the project coordinator Kifayat Mustafayeva, trainers Gulyana Ozcan and Ofelia Gafarova. They made presentations on the successful implementation of the project in Azerbaijan, field activities, and the implementation of school programs on "dual career".
During the two-day meeting, the current status and future plans of the project were discussed among partner countries - Azerbaijan, Romania, Italy, Moldova, and Malta. In particular, important decisions were made regarding the application of the methodology, evaluation surveys, analysis of results, collection of feedback on the SCALE methodology, and the final organizational work of the project.
The event was also an important stage in terms of planning project tournaments and the final conference. The SCALE project aims to develop a "dual career" model that supports young football players in their academic activities as well as sports. Since 2023, the project has covered 10 schools and 5 clubs (including boys and girls football players) organized by AFFA.
