The mini-football tournament organized jointly by AFFA and the Ministry of Science and Education, with the support of UEFA, among schools located in Ganja, has come to an end.
Idman.biz reports that the final stage of the mini-football tournament, held within the framework of the Football Lesson project in schools, took place at the sports ground of secondary school No. 1 named after Ismat Gayibov in Ganja.
Before the final match of the tournament, a group of officials visited the bust of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in front of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Ganja.
In the final match of the tournament, the team of secondary school No. 1 won over the team of secondary school No. 39 and became the winner of the tournament.
The winning team was awarded with a cup and medals, and the teams that took other places were awarded with appropriate medals.
Players who distinguished themselves in the tournament were awarded in various nominations.
The cup and awards were presented to the participants by Farrukh Ismayilov, the head of the Mass Football Department of AFFA. Also, a special gift was presented to secondary school No. 1 by AFFA for hosting the final stage of the tournament, as well as for special distinction in organizational work. The gift was given to the school's director Elvin Mehdizade by Farrukh Ismayilov.
