"İmarət Fan Group" of "Qarabagh" club reacted to the refusal to postpone the match with "Neftchi" in the XXI round of the Misli Premier League. Sport24.az reports that the fan group's page has published information about this:
The "Qayıdış" club linked its refusal to postpone our game with strengthening its position in the national championship.
Of course, this is insincere. "Neftchi" is currently in 7th place and is unlikely to be able to enter the top four.
At the same time, the fact that "Qayıdış" has been clearly defeated in recent years' matches between us shows that they have no hope of points, but only want to try to hinder the success of our "Qarabagh" as much as they can.
We are once again pleased to remind the small-minded football club, which we do not consider a rival as a club, and which wanted to hold a match without fans by raising the ticket price to 50 manats on the championship match day, that they lost the competition without even taking the field.
We can only express our gratitude for the fact that the colors of their uniform are the same as those of "Newcastle", which will make our training process more effective.
It should be noted that "Qarabagh" will play its first match in the play-off stage of the UEFA Champions League against "Newcastle" in Baku on February 18. Aghdam will face "Neftchi" on February 21 and "Newcastle" in England on February 24.
