- You lost to Qarabag. What can you say about the game?
- I think we played well. We had a lot of chances to score. We defended well, because Qarabag is a strong team. But that penalty, I think, broke our motivation. I think we will get better in every game, because we will start to get to know each other better and everything will be better after that.
- In your opinion, what affected the result in today's game? What is the problem?
- There is no special explanation for this. That penalty just "killed" us. We were playing well, everything was fine. In the first half, we did not feel that Qarabag was superior to us, the game was equal. But after that penalty, we lost heart.
- Will this result affect you psychologically?
- No. Because we know our potential. We also know that Qarabag is a very strong team. But today we fought well against them. I think the next game will be better.
- You usually complain about the refereeing. Do you have any complaints today?
- I don't know, because I didn't see the penalty episode myself. But our coach said that this penalty should not have been given normally. The referee hurried too much, blew the whistle and did not check VAR or anything else - he made the penalty decision in two minutes. But when it comes to us, they watch VAR for 10 minutes. This time, they immediately awarded a penalty without wasting any time.
- Is it a satisfactory result for you to collect 15 points after 11 games?
- It is not easy. Because we were not very adapted in the first games - there were many new players in the team. But we were better in the last three matches, we won three consecutive victories. We just lost this game. This is our second defeat in the league. But we have made a lot of progress compared to a few months ago.
