– I congratulate the opponent. We allowed some mistakes. As a result, we lost.
– The team has not been able to win for 10 games. How much of this defeat is your share, and are you thinking about resigning?
– The management makes the decision about me. There is no problem. We give instructions to the players. We explain to Sabuhi that it is impossible to make mistakes in the center, but it is repeated every game.
– So, there is a problem between the captain and the head coach?
– There is no problem with Sabuhi alone. Today is Sabuhi, tomorrow it could be Murat, then Ninkovic. If it is said to one person, others should understand as well. Opponents like "Neftchi" do not forgive such mistakes.
– We haven't seen a good game against "Karvan-Yevlakh", "Kapaz", "Gabala" either. What is behind this?
– Have you watched the game with "Kapaz"? Have you seen the goals we conceded?
– If the players are going to make mistakes, then what role does the head coach play here?
– There are 4-5 teams in the championship that are superior to us in terms of level. Mistakes affect the result. We reached our maximum last November. In the first half of the championship, no one asked why you were winning like this? There are such results in football. We reached our maximum and steps were needed to move forward. We talked to the management, some transfers did not take place. Now young people must show themselves so that they can be in the main team in the new season or move to other clubs.
– You mentioned the management, you pointed out the mistakes of the players. So, what are you doing wrong as a head coach?
– My responsibility is to prepare the team, to work on the mistakes made. The team that makes more mistakes in football loses. It is a big problem for us, we make easy mistakes. We lose purely because of this. We work in training, we work on mistakes, but these mistakes are repeated again in the next game. How far can "Qarabag" go with the same squad? Rotations are needed…
– Sabuhi Abdullazade doesn't seem to want to play. How right is it to release him on the field?
– It's unbelievable to me. Because I was also a football player. I can't understand how you can not want to play? This is an abnormal thing. Sabuhi is a graduate of this club. I don't believe he doesn't want to play.
– The fans don't see a problem with you, they also blame the players. If the management offers a new contract, what will be your decision?
– If you want to achieve results, everyone must be one, you must work for one strategy. I'm not saying that all the mistakes are the players', everyone has mistakes. The players' mistake means my mistake. I don't want to talk about a new contract. Now is not the time for that.
