– How did your transfer to Gabala go? Did you have other offers? Why did you prefer the Gabala option?
– The transfer negotiations went well. I had other options, but Gabala offered an ambitious project, and that convinced me in a short time. That's why I'm currently at Gabala.
– What is your initial impression of your new club? How were you received at Gabala?
– I was received very well. The club is excellently organized, and everyone treats me very sincerely. There is a family atmosphere here.
– You have also played in Turkish clubs during your career. Do you think this will help you adapt to your new team and Azerbaijani football more quickly?
– Of course. The Turkish league is demanding, and it taught me to adapt to the championship quickly. I am sure that this experience will also be useful in the new stage of my career.
– Gabala returned to the Azerbaijan Premier League after a 1-year break and does not want to be relegated again. Do you think your team will be able to perform successfully in the new season?
– Yes, the team is motivated, and everyone works hard in training. If we continue to play together, we can have a successful season.
– How many goals do you aim to score for Gabala during one season? Will you be a dangerous striker for opposing defenders?
– I can't say a specific number. But I want to be a dangerous striker and bring victories to Gabala.
– Before joining Gabala, which of the football players playing in the Azerbaijani championship did you know?
– The player I knew was Brahim Konate, who moved from Shamakhi to Zira this summer. He is my friend, my brother.
