"We are very happy to have won." These words were said to Spor24.az by Huseyn Huseynli, a football player of "Khankendi" playing in the II League.
The player shared his thoughts on the match in the XI round, where they defeated "Shirvan" with a score of 5:1:
"We had four more games left until winter. We have already managed to cope with one of them. We have three difficult games ahead. We want to win all of them and become the winter champion. We were able to show one of our best games in the match with "Shirvan". The score confirms this."
He said he was happy to have scored one of the goals: "We intend to develop even more in every match. We have one goal this season. We will try to achieve it."
The football player said that the away game with "Quba" will be difficult: "The opponent is a very good team. They had a number of problems at the beginning of the championship. But now they have a good squad. In the last match, they won with a score of 4:1. They proved that they have not turned back from this path. We will do our best in the next match as well. I believe we will win."
