Azerbaijani players have exceeded the given tasks.
"Report" reports that this was stated by Ramil Habibov, the head coach of the Azerbaijani amputee national team.
He highly appreciated the team finishing third in Group C of the League of Nations:
"This was our first competition. There were players who were playing for the first time. In the last match, the absence of our captain Sanan Hajiyev made itself felt. I can say that the football players did more than we asked them to do. We are thinking of rejuvenating the team a little. The national team's door is open to everyone."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team lost to Ukraine 1:3 in their last match in the League of Nations and finished the group in third place.
