Mladen Jijovic, the head coach of "Radnicki K", died during the match against "Mladost L" in the 14th round of the Serbian Super League.
Idman.Biz reports that the 44-year-old coach suddenly felt ill in the 22nd minute of the game and collapsed near the substitutes' bench. The game was stopped and an ambulance crew immediately arrived at the scene, provided first aid to the coach, and took him to the hospital.

20 minutes after the game was restarted, the referee stopped the game again and the players were informed that the coach had died. Some players either fell to the ground or knelt down crying.

The cause of death is still unknown.

Mladen Jijovic was born on December 27, 1980. During his playing career, he played for clubs in Bosnia, Albania, and Serbia. He also played for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The specialist was appointed to head "Radnicki K" on October 23. This was only Jijovic's third game since being appointed coach of the Super League team.
