"Barcelona" forward Lamin Yamal has decided to change his jersey number.
Lent.az reports that the 17-year-old footballer will wear the number 10 jersey next season.
Yamal will change his number 19 to the legendary number 10, which was previously worn by Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho and Diego Maradona at the club. The number currently belongs to Ansu Fati.
Yamal is expected to receive the number after his 18th birthday, on July 13.
It is also reported that the Spaniard will sign a new contract with "Barca" with a 1 billion euro buyout clause.
This season, Yamal has played 54 games in all tournaments for "Barcelona", scoring 18 goals and providing 25 assists.
