– I congratulate my players. Despite the tense game, they endured until the end in front of so many fans and tried their best to win. I thank our fans, they did not leave us alone here. I also thank the fans of the opposing team, there was a good atmosphere in the stadium. The score should not deceive us. Yes, we have an advantage, but we must be more serious and careful in the game in Baku. The opponent has a style of play that allows them to score goals out of nowhere. In any case, we will be more serious in the second game and try to make the most of our chances.

– Did the goal you conceded discourage you?

– When you concede a goal away, there is a little more excitement in the team. After the goal, the pressure on us increased for about 10-15 minutes. But gradually we took control of the game and took risks in the second half as well. In the first half we wanted to score, and in the second half we were more eager for more goals. I didn't want to concede a goal. But my demand from the players is to score as many goals as possible.

– Do you feel yourself in the League stage?

– Absolutely not. We have a very serious, eager coach and team in front of us who don't like to lose. Again, the opponent has the ability to score in any standard situations, in attack. We must be more serious in the game in Baku, we should not be complacent. Every conceded goal creates distrust in the team. We must be more serious in Baku. We shouldn't celebrate this game.
