Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola has stated that he is annoyed by rumors that he will leave the club before the match against Chelsea in the 20th round of the English Premier League.
Idman.Biz reports that Guardiola addressed his detractors with harsh words.
"Why should I tell you my opinion? This is just a rumor. Do you want to fire me? Oh my God. I have a contract, I have said it a million times already. But my authority is zero, isn't it? Maybe one day it will happen, I don't know. Football is a surprise. I can only confirm how lucky I am. I am in the club I am now and I am staying here. My club is extraordinary," The Sun newspaper quoted Guardiola as saying.
After 19 games played in the English Premier League, Manchester City has 41 points and is in second place in the standings. Chelsea is in fifth place with 30 points.
