Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola has announced that he will be making changes to the squad before the new season begins. Sport24.az reports that he made a statement to ESPN about this:
"I would be happy to keep the players we have now in the team. I have no complaints about the players, their behavior. I don't need six or seven players in reserve.
The problem is that they will be sad and frustrated during the season. I don't want that.
We have a very big squad now, so we can't rely on 26 or 27 players this season, some will leave."
It should be noted that Guardiola said at the end of last season that he would leave the team if he had to work with an inflated squad.
