The former coach of Chelsea, Brighton and West Ham has already reached an agreement with the Swedish Football Association on the terms of a personal contract.
The 50-year-old specialist is well acquainted with Swedish football. He coached Östersunds FK from 2011–2018 and led the team from the lower divisions to the European Cups.
An official announcement regarding Potter's appointment is expected in the coming days.
