German veteran footballer, former world champion Frank Mill, has passed away.
Idman.biz reports that he died at the age of 67.
Frank, who suffered a heart attack in May of this year, suddenly deteriorated. Despite the doctors' efforts, it was not possible to save his life. During his career, Mill played for Rot-Weiss Essen, Borussia (Mönchengladbach), Borussia (Dortmund) and Fortuna.
It should be noted that Frank was a winner of the 1990 World Cup as part of the German national team. The veteran footballer, who played 17 games for the national team, did not appear on the field at the World Cup where they became champions.
