Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov held meetings with Azerbaijani athletes living abroad.
"Report" informs that Parviz Nasibov, a wrestler who won silver medals at the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo and Paris and currently represents Ukraine, gave information about his future career during the meeting.
Rufat Baki (Israfilbeyov), who was engaged in professional boxing in the USA, kept the Azerbaijani flag high and chose the nickname Baki for himself, despite living and fighting far from his homeland. It should be noted that Rufat Baki won 22 of the 24 fights he had in his career.
Minister Farid Gayibov highly appreciated the successes of both athletes in the international arena and wished them success in their future activities.
