Jorge Costa, who won the Champions League with Portuguese club Porto in the 2003/2004 season, has died at the age of 54.
"Report" informs that the "A Bola" newspaper reported this.
No information is given about the cause of death of the former defender of the Portuguese national team.
During his football career, Costa played for Porto from 1990-2005 and scored 20 goals in 324 games. As part of this team, he was an eight-time Portuguese champion and a five-time winner of the national cup. He won the UEFA Cup (now the Europa League) in 2003 and the Champions League in 2004.
After ending his football career, J. Costa worked as the head coach of several clubs.
