Former "Real" and Wales national team striker Gareth Bale has confirmed his interest in buying "Cardiff City" with the desire to return the Welsh club to the Premier League. Sport24.az reports that the veteran footballer gave an interview to "Goal":
"This is one of my goals. I am from Wales and I know how passionate the Cardiff fans are about their club. The desire of any team is to get into the Premier League. Of course, this is a very difficult task, but I will definitely try it."
It should be noted that there were reports in the press that Bale had offered 40 million pounds sterling for "Cardiff". However, the club owner Vincent Tan rejected the offer, saying that the amount was small. The consortium of the former "Real" striker has now come to Tan with a new, more favorable offer.
