Gabriele Gravina has resigned as president of the Italian Football Federation.
According to "Report", famous insider Fabrizio Romano announced this on his social media page.
On March 31, the Italian national team lost to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the play-off match to qualify for the final stage of the World Championship (1:1, 1:4 on penalties). The head of the federation left his post due to the Italian national team's failure to participate in three consecutive World Cups.
It should be reminded that 72-year-old Gravina has been the president of the Italian Football Federation since 2018.
