"Palmeiras", "Flamengo", "Fluminense", and "Botafogo", the winners of the Libertadores Cup in succession from 2021 to 2024, are successfully representing Brazil at the 2025 Club World Cup. According to Sport24.az, they have all qualified for the 1/8 finals.
The Brazilians lost only one match out of a total of 12 in the group stage (6 wins and 5 draws). In Group B, "Botafogo" lost 0:1 to Atletico Madrid.
The Argentine league has been one of the most unsuccessful in the tournament, with "Boca Juniors" and "River Plate" stopping their struggle in the group stage. In addition, five of the 10 players who received red cards at the Club World Cup are representatives of Argentine clubs.
