Greek journalist Fotis Pliakos shared his thoughts on the "Araz-Nakhchivan" - "Aris" (Greece) match, which will be held in the II qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League. Sport24.az reports that the "Protothema" publication gave space to his views.
The media representative wrote that the Greek representative was lucky in the draw:
"Because the team will face the Azerbaijani club "Araz-Nakhchivan". Among the potential rivals, "Hapoel" (Beer Sheva, Israel) and "Levski" (Sofia, Bulgaria) are stronger teams. "Araz-Nakhchivan" will participate in the European Cups for the first time. Another positive point for "Aris" is that the away match will be held in Baku, not Nakhchivan. If the opponent knocks "Aris" out of the competition, it will be a disaster".
It should be noted that "Araz-Nakhchivan" will play its first match at home on July 24, and the return match will be played away a week later.
