Adil Shukurov, the former head coach of "Kapaz," has commented on the Ganja club retaining its place in the Misli Premier League.
The expert, who gave an interview to "Report" about this, said that he had predicted from the beginning of the season that the western representative would not leave the elite.
"From the beginning of the season, I was sure that the team would not leave the Premier League. The players recruited in our time were players who fit the budget. However, the players who joined the club after we left were different in a positive sense. When I said goodbye and left "Kapaz", I said that 4-5 good players should be bought for the team. Those players had to be the leading members of the team, and those who came after my time did just that."
He emphasized that there was a fierce struggle in the lower ranks of the tournament table until the last rounds:
"We witnessed a tense struggle. I congratulate all "Kapaz" fans. What I said happened, and I am happy about that. It doesn't matter if it's me or another head coach, the main thing is that "Kapaz" will fight in the Premier League."
It should be noted that it became clear that "Kapaz" would not leave the Misli Premier League 2 rounds before the end of the current season. This happened after "Sabail" lost to "Zira" 0:1 in the XXXIV round. The "yellow-blues" are in eighth place in the tournament table with 32 points. "Sabail", whose relegation to the I League has been confirmed, is in last place with 22 points.
