"The transfer of a player like Abubakar to "Neftchi" will make a big difference in the Azerbaijan championship. This could be the most successful transfer of recent years for "Neftchi"."
These words were said by Ceyhun Kazancı, who worked as the sports director of the Turkish club "Besiktas" in 2021-2023, in his statement to AZERTAC.
According to him, Vincent Abubakar, who spent the best period of his career in "Besiktas", is a charismatic football player:

To protect his place in the national team, he will try to show himself in the best way in "Neftchi"."
The Turkish functionary also said that the 33-year-old forward can adapt to the pace of the Azerbaijan championship:
"The pace of the Premier League is not very high. But Abubakar has played in a fast championship like the Turkish Super League. Therefore, I think he will adapt to "Neftchi" quickly.
