Former assistant coach of the French national team, Jean-Louis Gasset, has passed away at the age of 72.
Idman.Biz reports that the press service of the "Marseille" club has released information about this.
"The club has lost more than just a coach: a respected figure in the football world, an experienced tactics expert, and a person deeply committed to sports values.
He brought his calmness, balance, and wise perspective to Marseille. He was valued by both players and management. He left the impression of a fair and attentive person, enjoying deep respect both in the dressing room and beyond," Marseille said in a statement.
Gasset served as the head coach of "Marseille" from February to June 2024. He was with the French national team from 2010 to 2012.
