Southampton have reached an agreement with their former player. The 34-year-old defensive midfielder will sign a contract with the English club after passing a medical examination.
It should be noted that Oriol Romeu played on loan for Girona last season. The experienced footballer left Barcelona in August. He played for Southampton from 2015 to 2022.
