Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has assessed the latest situation regarding Lamin Yamal, Rafinha, and Pedri. Flick also commented on questions raised about Lionel Messi's possible return.
Idman.Biz reports that Yamal's good condition in preparation for tomorrow's game, Rafinha's return to the field, and the gradual continuation of Pedri's recovery process have been highlighted as key focus points within the club.
Speaking about Yamal, Flick said that the forward will be ready for tomorrow.
"He is working very well and I am happy with that. Resting from games for the last two weeks has had a good effect on him. Rafinha is also back. But he will start as a substitute and we will see how many minutes he can play," said the head coach.
Speaking cautiously about Pedri, Flick said that his recovery is ongoing.
Flick answered the question about Lionel Messi's possible return to Barcelona as follows:
"Messi is the best football player of the last ten years. It has always been a pleasure to watch him. But his contract ends in 2028, and my contract ends in 2027. So it's not up to me to talk about this topic".
