According to the latest information received by Sportnews.az, a major financial crisis at Zira Football Club has put the team in a bad situation.
The information states that Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Taleh Nasibov, President of the team, which finished second in the Azerbaijan Premier League, have not paid most of the players' cash bonuses and June salaries for this success and victories, which has caused a sharp protest.
It is reported that the Zira representative's management also owes money to the media promoting the team. The team's total debt is approximately 1.2 million manats.
It is expected that some players will leave "Zira" and complain to FIFA.
