"Fenerbahce" has released a statement on social media after the failure of the transfers of N'Golo Kanté and Youssef En-Nesyri.
The Turkish club had previously reached an agreement with "Al-Ittihad", and Kante was expected to join "Fenerbahce" in exchange for En-Nesyri. However, the contract was not completed due to paperwork issues. FIFA has rejected appeals from both sides.
"The transfer process regarding N'Golo Kanté, Youssef En-Nesyri, and "Al-Ittihad" was carefully carried out by our club in accordance with all rules and the plan.
Agreements were reached with the players according to the requirements of our coaching staff, medical examinations were completed, and necessary permits were obtained. Our club fulfilled all its obligations within the specified periods. Transfer registration documents were uploaded correctly and completely to the system within the allocated time.
However, due to incorrect information entered into TMS by the other club, the process could not be completed in the registration window, independently of our club. Therefore, we requested a postponement, held the necessary negotiations with FIFA, and took all steps to resolve the situation.
Nevertheless, the other club failed to complete the process in a timely manner and provided no explanation. As a result of these events, unfortunately, the transfer did not take place.
We understand and share the disappointment this has caused in our community. Our club continues to rebuild its team with the same determination and discipline in line with its sporting goals," said "Fenerbahce" in a statement.

"Fenerbahce's" plans for N'Golo Kante have officially failed. The club has released an official statement on this matter.
Idman.Biz reports that the agreed player exchange between "Fenerbahce" and Saudi Arabia's "Al-Ittihad" club was disrupted at the last moment. According to the agreement, N'Golo Kante was to move to the Turkish club, and Youssef En-Nesyri was to move in the opposite direction.
According to reports, the parties agreed on all terms, documents were prepared, the players said goodbye to the clubs, and also underwent medical examinations. However, due to "Al-Ittihad" entering the data incorrectly into the transfer system, the agreement was not registered on time.
"Fenerbahce" directly placed the responsibility on "Al-Ittihad" in its official statement. It was stated that although the Turkish club requested FIFA to extend the registration period, the Saudi side did not react to the process without giving any explanation, and the issue remained unresolved.
Thus, N'Golo Kante's return to Europe did not take place. Currently, there is no clear decision on whether this transfer has been completely canceled or postponed to a later date.
