– No one would want such a thing to happen. I don't wish this on any football player. But anything can happen in football. Maybe there are many reasons, but I can't say anything about it.
– In the last round of the season – in the match with "Sumgayit" (1:4) – we did not see your name along with your brother Yusif Nabiyev in the application form. What was the reason for this?
– We were both injured. For this reason, we did not participate in the game with "Sumgayit".
– Do you think that "Sabail", like "Shamakhi" and "Gabala", will be able to return to the Premier League after only 1 year?
– I wish "Sabail" success. I hope that what you said will happen and this team will play in the Premier League again.
– When will there be clarity about the future? You probably have offers from other clubs in the Premier League. Will you choose between those offers, or would you like to live as a legionnaire again?
– Frankly, I also have offers from abroad. But I have not yet made a decision about my future career. Everything will be clear in the near future.
– When you say abroad, do you mean the Czech Republic, where you went before?
– No, I don't mean the Czech Republic. There are interested parties from other countries. Time will tell what will happen.
– From the next season, there will be no legionnaire limit in the national championship. This means that it will be difficult for local players to get into the team. Does this worry you?
– Personally, it doesn't worry me at all. I hope that whoever is stronger will play. The abolition of the legionnaire limit does not mean that foreigners will be much better than us. It is not easy to play in our championship. Everything will be clear at the end of the next season.
– You are already 26 years old and it is a pity that you have not yet become one of the leading football players of the national team. Does this make you sad too? Do you believe that you will be one of the main players of the team in the near future?
– Nothing is impossible. First you need to try to get into the national team. Only then can you talk about something. I have focused my mind on the new season for now.
