Renowned Italian coach Fabio Capello has reacted to the Italian national team's failure to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports that the Italians lost to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the play-off match for the right to play in the tournament (1:1, 1:4 on penalties).
"This is unacceptable for a team with such prestige and history. I couldn't sleep all night and I still can't believe what happened. We are talking about a four-time world champion team. This is a sporting tragedy, a disgrace. This is one of the worst events in the recent history of Italian football," - Marca quotes Capello.
