The duration of the half-time break in football matches may be extended.
"Report", citing "Reuters", reports that the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPro) has made a proposal in this regard.
It has been proposed to increase the half-time break from 15 to 20 minutes during the 2026 World Cup matches.
In addition, FIFPro has recommended postponing matches if the weather is hotter than 28 degrees Celsius in order to protect the health of the players.
It should be noted that the 2026 World Cup will be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
