Interview with Elvin Jafarquliyev, a football player of "Qarabag", to Idman.biz

- How do you assess the season?

- I think the season was good for us. We became champions and we deserved it. I congratulate all "Qarabag" fans, coaching staff, and teammates. This victory can be considered a successful result for the local championship. But unfortunately, our performance in European cups did not go as we wanted. I hope we will perform better next time.

- Which game was the most memorable for you in the expiring football year?

- Of course, there were many games that I regret. As you know, I also received red cards during the season. My most memorable game was the match against Tottenham in the Europa League. Although we lost that game, it was memorable for me in terms of good moments individually.

- Your contract with "Qarabag" expires next year. What do you think about it?

- I don't want to answer this question, it's too early to talk about it in general.

- Elvin, why are you so aggressive?

- Those who think I'm aggressive like you wouldn't say that if they knew me in real life. As soon as I enter the stadium, I become aggressive. Some things are beyond my control. True, I know I need to control it. But it is impossible to play without aggression. We must not forget that football is also a game of aggression.

- Are you taking any steps to reduce this aggression?

- Of course, I am working on myself. I try to prepare myself psychologically for the game. I hope it will be better after this.
