Egypt national team director Ibrahim Hassan commented on reports about a possible transfer of Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah to MLS.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, he said he wants Salah to stay in Europe:
"I have heard that PSG, Bayern and Serie A clubs are interested in him. If he moves to MLS, Mohamed will be out of the spotlight. Then you will remember Salah as much as I remember Lionel Messi now. I don't even try to watch his game."
On March 24, Salah announced that he would leave Liverpool at the end of the 2025/26 season.
The striker has played 435 games for the club in all tournaments, scored 255 goals and provided 122 assists.
Earlier it was reported that Inter Miami and Al-Ittihad were interested in him.
