Burkina Faso made a dramatic comeback in their Africa Cup of Nations match against Equatorial Guinea.
Idman.Biz reports that despite being 0-1 down in the 90+5th minute, the team managed to turn the game around by scoring twice before the final whistle. The winning goal was scored by a footballer who had lost one eye.
Giorgi Minoungou lost his left eye two years ago due to an infection. Doctors had told him that he would no longer be able to play football. However, he gave his country an unforgettable victory.
The footballer said after the match:
"This doesn't affect me at all. My left eye doesn't see, but I can play better than those who see with both eyes. That's my mentality."
