– In the championship game against "Araz-Nakhchivan" (0:2), the team seemed better than in previous matches, but still ended up losing. What was missing for a successful result?
– I think we didn't look bad in the first half, we were good in defense, we played compactly, we also had several chances in attack. But football lasts 90 minutes, so we must try to maintain this rhythm for the entire 90 minutes. "Araz-Nakhchivan" is a good team, they took third place in the league last year. Therefore, we knew that the game would be difficult.
– After 4 rounds, "Kapaz" is the only team in the championship that has not scored any points. What do you see as the reason for the unsuccessful start?
– I just returned to the team, I can't say what happened before me. I can say that we will do our best in the next game.
– Does the fact that "Kapaz" is far from its hometown and fans negatively affect the team's performance?
– Let's agree that playing in our own stadium, in our own city, in front of our fans would be an advantage for us. But this situation is a reality that we have to accept.
– In the next round you will face "Gabala". Can this meeting be a turning point for "Kapaz"?
– Every game, every round is important in the Azerbaijan championship. Considering our current situation, this meeting is extremely important for both us players and "Kapaz" in general.
– You also wore the uniform of "Kapaz" last season and the team managed to stay in the Premier League. Will "Kapaz" be able to keep its place in the league this season as well?
– In my opinion, we should think game by game. I don't like talking too much about the future. Anything can happen in football. I can say for myself that I will do my best for this club.
– How do you assess the level of the new legionnaires who were recruited by "Kapaz" this summer and came to our country for the first time? Will they be able to show themselves in a good light in the Azerbaijan championship?
– I have been training with my new teammates for about two weeks. Compared to last year, there are many new faces in the team. I can say that this league is competitive. We can only achieve our goals by being physically strong and through teamwork.
