"It was a difficult game from several aspects - the opponent, the weather conditions". These words were said by "Imishli" football player Dioqo Rollo in his statement to Sport24.az.
The Brazilian central defender commented on his team's match with "Gabala" in the 8th round of the Misli Premier League:
"Despite being behind with a score of 2:0, our ability to stay in the game and finish the 90 minutes in a draw is an indicator of team spirit, endurance and our determination to fight to the end for our goal. This result is a great source of motivation not only for our players and staff, but also for everyone representing Imishli. Based on the results of 8 rounds, I generally evaluate our performance positively. Analysis shows that the factors that made the difference in the games we lost were minor details. We are currently working systematically on these points so that we do not repeat such mistakes in the future. Our team is physically and psychologically strong at this stage of the season, and also fully confident. As for the next game, I can say that the opponent is a strong and disciplined team, and in this regard, I think the match will be interesting and tense. I look forward to playing against them again. Last year's game with "Kapaz" in the Azerbaijan Cup was unsuccessful for us and we lost with a score of 1:0. This time we intend to achieve a better result and leave the game with positive emotions".
