Dick Advocaat has resigned as the head coach of the Curaçao national team. Sport24.az reports that the local federation's press service has released information about this.
According to the source, the 78-year-old specialist resigned due to his daughter's serious health problems. He will be replaced in this position by his compatriot Fred Rutten.
It should be noted that Curaçao will participate in the World Championship for the first time in its history this summer. The island nation is in the same group with Germany, Ivory Coast and Ecuador.
