Denis Bouanga has extended his contract with Los Angeles. Sport24.az reports, citing ESPN, that the forward has signed a new agreement that runs until the end of 2028, with the option to extend it by another year.
The 31-year-old Gabonese player, who transferred from Saint-Étienne to the MLS club in August 2022, is considered one of the strongest forwards in the US championship. In the 2025 season, he became the top scorer in the history of Los Angeles FC. Denis has scored a total of 101 goals and provided 42 assists in 152 games for the club.
It is worth noting that Bouanga has also started this season successfully. The forward scored a hat-trick last week in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. In the first round of the MLS, in the match against Inter Miami, he was remembered for a goal and an assist.
