Barcelona's sporting director Deco has explained the reason why goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen left Saudi Arabia, where the Spanish Super Cup was held.

"Ter Stegen felt discomfort in his knee and Mark was worried, which is natural because he has had problems before. He is calm and we are happy that there is nothing serious," - Sport.es quotes Deco.
Earlier, it was reported that 33-year-old Mark-Andre ter Stegen could leave the club in the winter transfer window. The goalkeeper has only appeared once for the Catalan club this season.
