Details have emerged regarding the death of Xanbaba Dashti, the president of the "Shahdag Quba" football club, whose body was found in Istanbul, Turkey.
Idman.biz reports, citing Teleqraf, that he went to Turkey after his affairs in Azerbaijan went awry.
He lived in that country for the last 3 years and worked as a football manager. However, he faced difficulties there as well.
According to other information, he had a large amount of debt to various individuals in Azerbaijan. He was indebted to both individuals and companies. These debts are also the reason why Dashti could not return to his homeland.
His brother, Tabriz Dashti, told Teleqraf that Xanbaba's death was unexpected for them. "We heard the news this morning. We couldn't believe he would do such a thing."
Regarding how Xanbaba Dashti's business was going in Turkey, his brother said that he did not have extensive information about it: "He would call and talk to my mother. He didn't communicate much with other members of our family. Therefore, I don't have extensive knowledge about his affairs."
Tabriz Dashti stated that they want to bring his brother's body to Azerbaijan, but they do not have the financial means to do so: "We are asking for help from the relevant government agencies in this regard."
It should be noted that Xanbaba's family lives in the village of Baghbanli in Guba. His father has passed away, and his mother is alive. He has three brothers and one sister. Xanbaba, born in 1995, is also a second-group disabled person. He is single.
